The Creative Academy is an institution of higher learning (IPTS) offering academic and specialized courses in the fields of Design and Computing . To ensure excellent quality of education, all offered programs at CA was approved and accredited by Ministry of Higher Education and National Accreditation Board, Malaysia (LAN). Creative Academy began a new chapter in 2000 when it acquired its own present 5 storey building, situated at the heart of Georgetown - WISMA CREATIVE 50, Jalan Pahang. All under one roof, the college building is well designed with space, lighting and colors, delivering an easy access touch with all today most updated facilities. CA exists to meet the needs of a diverse population facing rapid social, economic and technological changes. Education programs are designed to prepare students to begin or continue a career, to improve their competitiveness, and to enhance personal growth.

The Creative Academy is now Penang's foremost School of design and Computing. Here at CA, we have been considering the 21 st century for the past decade as we formed and reformed our educational program.

Mission Statement

Creative Academy for Higher Learning's mission is to equip and prepare its learners for higher levels of education and to be positive productive members of society. CA will achieve its mission by identifying, nurturing, and developing its learners' academic gifts, talents and creativity. Believing that all students are capable of achieving at a higher level, CA offers exceptional learning experiences and quality curricula to foster the learners' fullest potentials.

Objectives

Creative Academy is committed to excellence in teaching, relevancy of the curriculum, and individual attention to students. Educational Quality Control

The quality of education is subject to control from three sources :

1. Partner Universities
The universities working with Creative Academy, including those offering their undergraduate and postgraduate courses, selected CA because of its reputation for maintaining quality in education. All programs offered in CA are regularly and closely supervised by the awarding universities. Senior academics from the universities concerned make periodic visits to monitor standards and exam students enrolled at Creative Academy.

2. Internal Controls
In addition to the quality control measures imposed by the participating universities, Creative Academy, through its own Centre for Academic Excellence (CAE), conducts documented procedure for evaluation of the standards in teaching and facilities in CA. The Centre also conducts staff development courses to ensure regular enhancement of teaching skills.

3. National Accreditation Board, Malaysia
(Lembaga Akreditasi Negara/LAN)
The National Accreditation Board and the Ministry of Education monitor all private colleges to ensure that courses are taught to prescribed standards. They also look into the area of facilities and resources to ensure that students obtain education that is delivered to acceptable international standards.
